ABOUT DAVID YANG
David Yang is CEO and co-founder of Fullstack Academy, a Y Combinator-backed coding education experience focused on student outcomes. Since it’s founding in 2013, Fullstack Academy has graduated 700+ students with a virtually 100% placement rate into world-class NYC and SF companies like Google, Facebook, Palantir, Segment, Medidata and Percolate. Before Fullstack Academy, David built and managed NYC engineering teams for several years at companies like Gilt Groupe, RecycleBank and BrightWire Media. David previously worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft, IBM, Yahoo! and has always enjoyed mentoring and growing great engineers. David fell in love with the energy and spirit of teaching software engineering when he and Fullstack Academy’s co-founder Nimit Maru started a lecture series called MBACodeSchool at top business schools like Wharton, Harvard, NYU and Columbia.
