We invite all educators, parents, and technologists to come see the amazing results of an innovative computer science curriculum piloted by the Actualize Coding Bootcamp at Walt Disney Magnet School - which taught Walt Disney students from 5th through 8th grade to create their own websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, the coding languages used by real web developers.

The Walt Disney students will be unveiling their websites which feature a great range of subjects, from computer games to Rome.

This pilot program was recently highlighted by the White House as part of their Computer Science for All program announcement of innovative partnerships teaching students the highly marketable skills of computer science.

Actualize plans to bring this curriculum to elementary schools across the nation. It is designed to be taught by the teachers of core subjects such as history and science, and allows computer science to be brought to the classroom without taking away time from another subject. Once students learn these skills, they can create websites that serve as interactive reports and displays that can either replace or supplement standard schoolwork projects.
