Brian Ambielli - Senior Software Engineer 
Talk: Preparing Flexport's Transmission Web Frontend for Scale

Brian is a software engineer on Flexport's Chicago-based trucking team, who is following his interest in data science by pursuing a Master’s in Analytics from Georgia Tech. On weekends, you'll find this Seattle native biking and blogging (sometimes simultaneously), or planning the next Chicago Logistics Tech meetup. To catch up with Brian, check out bambielli.com.

Justin Bozonier - Senior Data Scientist
Talk: Optimizing Trucking When Anything That Can Go Wrong, Just Might

Justin Bozonier is a Sr. Data Scientist in Trucking at Flexport, author of the book Test-Driven Machine Learning, and frequent speaker at data science events from Seattle to Budapest.

Previously, Justin led data science teams at other high-profile technology companies. At GrubHub he built the statistical framework and systems for split testing everything released to customers and restaurants. While at Arity, he researched car/ride share optimization and led a data science team to deliver machine learning systems for clients. In a previous life, he was a software developer for 8+ years working across C#, Javascript, Ruby, Python, etc. for companies including Microsoft, Cheezburger (of I Can Haz fame), LexisNexis, Milliman, and more.

Justin is currently a grad student in Operations Research at GA Tech. He earned his B.S. in Math from Southern New Hampshire University.
