We believe purpose is innate within any company and has to be accessed to reach its full potential. We want you to pitch us; not on what you do but why you do it. We believe your purpose can be summed up into three words: simple, genuine, and aspirational. We want to see what your company can bring to the table to inspire others and lead a transformative movement throughout the interactions you have.

Vetted companies will have 5 minutes to pitch what they believe in while connecting it to their overarching business model in respect to their company’s future.
Our judges will validate the positioning of your company’s purpose by examining your presentation. First place recognized as “Most Purposeful Startup in Chicago” in addition to receiving $25,000 and media exposure.
The Purpose Pitch is a pitching competition for startups sponsored by DePaul University’s Coleman Entrepreneurship Center and Mabbly, a Chicago-based digital marketing agency.
