This event has ended.

Welcome back to all who attended our first community event @1871. We've learned a lot from our first sold-out event and hope you will continue to provide feedback to make these events better.

A few changes this month:

(1) More art and artists. Highlighting the importance of artists in our Chicago blockchain community will be a continuing theme of our monthly events @1871. This month we are featuring Josh Blaylock, author and creator of The Bitcoin Comic Handbook. Bring your comic book fan friends for a book signing.

(2) For those new to blockchain, the first 15 minutes of our event every month will be an intro to blockchain session. This short session will help our new community members understand this exciting technology. The non-newbie agenda will start promptly at 6:00, though everyone is welcome at 5:45 for networking. If you have a Blockchain 101 presentation that you would like to give, please contact [masked]

(3) We have a big problem with 'no shows' and a huge wait list. We are hoping that by limiting registrations to one per person, instead of allowing one person to register a group that we can reduce the number of no shows. Please forward your CBP email, or this Meet-up to your friends and encourage them to sign up and attend.
